Today, Friday May 9th, 10.36 AM,our friends Suzann, Blake & Marci and John & Jamie are trying to move from Hamra to another, safer, location. Due to the checkpoints they cannot move so far. Jonathan & Diana are also stuck in Hamra but are being asked to stay put

Gunfire is still going on in the streets of Beirut and it is unclear were this will take us in the days ahead.

The country is coming to a stand-still and as people are not able to go to work they will soon be confronted by lack of supplies and cash.
